REST API overview - RISOS Developer Docs

Base URL: https://risos.co/api/rest The REST API exposes the same canonical services used by the RISOS app: the 10-Product registry, six Signals, Projects, parent ResearchJobs, Living Deliverables, Ask, Explore, Intelligence, Evidence, Entities, Opportunities, Monitor, and reproducible Reports. The complete machine-readable contract is published at https://risos.co/openapi.yaml.

Important behavior

POST /research-jobs requires research:write, structured Product input, and an Idempotency-Key.
POST /ask requires research:read and answers from current intelligence without starting Research.
GET /evidence and Entity routes require evidence:read.
Monitor reads and writes use monitor:read and monitor:write.
Reports snapshot existing state; creating a Report does not silently start new Research.
Provider/source routing stays internal and cannot be overridden through the public REST contract.

Collections use cursor and nextCursor where the backing service supports cursor pagination. Errors use:
